Optical components, residual infrastructures and electrical systems are connected through a distributed network of energetic relationships.
Residual materials combined with optical precision create a contrast that generates an unfamiliar and self-sustaining environment. By passing through the laser beam, the visitor interrupts its processes, introducing a discontinuity that propagates through light and sound.
The work reflects on a post-anthropocentric condition in which organisation emerges from fragile and interdependent relationships.
Materials: 532nm laser, amplifiers, solar cells, beamsplitter 50/50, mirrors, ostrich egg, cement, iron, sand.
